We highlight our trip to Raleigh N.C. and the CRAZY allergic reaction Annabelle had.
We spent the night in Raleigh after meeting up with Mary, Terence, Mercy, Madelyn and little Isabel.
The kids were having fun on Saturday morning in our hotel. Mary and Terence had some time to themselves and we watched the kids. 6 kids in a small hotel room. Good times!! Actually, any time with my nieces is completely treasured and we had fun.

I figured a bubble machine would make things fun. Fun for us, probably not the maids.
We were able to see the area Mary and Terence are moving to and we took the children to a fun children's museum.
Connor was not too impressed as it was geared for very small children but towards the end he started to throw off the "I'm too cool for this" attitude.
This is how the allergic reaction started out with Annie. This picture actually shows a picture of when she had already had some Benadryl and it had calmed down. It started as lots of little bumps and then her ears began to swell up and her face was full of big red patches.
This is Sunday morning after a few hours of being on Benadryl. Her forhead was HUGE and her little eyes were nearly swollen shut. It scared me to death but as soon as she had a dose of her medicine I could see improvements. The doctors told me to watch her and if her mouth started to swell up then to rush her to the E.R. Luckily it didn't happen.

She was so unhappy, bless her little cotton socks :(

It went away and we have not been able to figure out what caused it which makes the worry even more intense. It could happen again. She is seeing an allergist and we'll try to get to the bottom of it.
Here she is yesterday. Her skin is normal again and her beautiful eyes are not swollen and puffy.
She's back to her gorgeous little self.
